Unmothering the Woman (UTW) is a feminist storytelling movement that aims to break stereotypes peddled by societies against women

UTW used to record women’s stories and later on post them on their social media accounts. This was great as their followers could easily watch every story. However, the movement needed to scale further from a video posting account to an online platform that shares womens’ stories in blogs, podcasts and videos.

UTW also needed a space to provide useful resources on topics like Divorce, Co-parenting, Mothering in prison and more. Moreover, their followers needed to easily register for any physical events/forums to discuss various topics, within one platform.

BC Afrika reached out to Visualsnare to aid in developing the platform. BC Afrika provided all the UI designs while the team at Visualsnare coded the site
